Link Telecom Enterprise Limited was handed the maximum fine of £2,500 for selling the electronic cigarette to an under 18 year old.
They were fined an additional £20,000 for stocking vapes which failed to display the health warning and contact details in Great Britain of the supplier.
The defendant, who was convicted in absence, was also ordered to pay Croydon Council’s full costs of £5,000.
The ownership of the business has recently changed hands.
The court described this as a ‘cynical’ attempt to abuse the court process.
