A seven-and-a-half-foot tall portrait of World War Two codebreaker Alan Turing, who lived in Hampton during WW2, is going to auction.

It’s expected to fetch up to 150-thousand, but there’s a twist.

It was made by a robot, making the artwork the first of its kind to go under the hammer, and not come from a human.

Ai-Da is designed to look like a woman, and uses artificial intelligence to create drawings, paintings and sculptures.
