A series of additional maintenance works are to take place across Surrey during the winter months.

Extra highways teams are being mobilised to improve pathways, roadsides and rural areas.

Activities will include hedge cutting, clearing growth that might be obstructing pathways and road edges, and cleaning road signage.

The first improvements have already taken place in areas of Leatherhead, Guildford and Ashford.
