A second round of protests in Epsom have been condemned as “shameful” by Surrey Police’s Crime Commissioner.

Lisa Townsend says those responsible for disorder on Monday night should expect to face “the full force of the law”.

The unrest in the town follows a report of a rape outside the Methodist Church on April the 11th.

Surrey Police say they have found no evidence linking the case to asylum seekers or immigrants.
