44-year-old Colin Meyer, of no fixed address, is described as white, of medium build with short dark hair.
He has ear piercings that have left his ears stretched and he speaks with a South African accent, said police.
Officers said they wanted to hear from anyone who had seen or spoken to him recently or knows where he could be.
