A safety awareness course is going to be made free to motorcyclists in Surrey who have previously been injured in collisions.

The Rider Resilience Programme will be led by Surrey and Sussex Police throughout March and April.

The practical training has been designed specifically to help prevent similar accidents from happening again.

Government statistics indicate bikers accounted for 12.3% of all reported road casualties in Great Britain in the year ending June 2025.
