A road was closed in Hampton for several hours due to a collision over the weekend.

Officers were called to Staines Road East to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle at around 11pm on Saturday.

A closure was in place between the Kenton Avenue and Percy Road on Staines Road East to allow for a thorough investigation.

Police are asking any witnesses in the area at that time to contact them on 101.
