This year marks 20 years since the 22-year-old French student was murdered by Levi Bellfield as she crossed the open space.
Participants are being urged to stay afterwards for a bystander training session led by Richmond Council.
The scheme gives people the skills to challenge inappropriate behaviour at work, on campus and in school.
