33 year old Mohamed Amoyos pleaded guilty to four counts of robbery following a string of watch thefts across London.
Between October and December last year, he stole four watches, totalling £65,000, by targeting lone men at night.
Plain clothed officers have been targeting these thieves, a tactic which the Met says has driven down robberies since 2022.
