A passenger’s been charged with money laundering after £400,000 worth of banknotes were found in a suitcase at Heathrow Airport.

41-year-old Broomand Nasab from Austria was stopped by Border Force from boarding a flight to Turkey on Wednesday.

Police seized his backpack which also contained nearly 11000 Euros.

Nasab was subsequently arrested and will appear before Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Friday
