A number of MPs are calling on the Health Secretary for urgent action on the youth mental health crisis.

Esher and Walton’s MP Monica Harding, and Helen Maguire for Epsom and Ewell are among those writing to Wes Streeting.

The Lib Dems say chronic underfunding of mental health services are having a devastating impact on young people and their families.

Mr Streeting has previously said he believes there is an “overdiagnosis” of some mental health conditions.
