Radue Tomescu admitted causing death by careless driving while travelling at up to 40mph in a 30mph zone in March 2023.
The 32-year-old has been sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years and banned from driving for 18 months.
A hearing at the Old Bailey in February was told how Tomescu was driving in wet and icy conditions.
