43 year old PC Christopher Gudgeon was found guilty following a trial at Croydon Crown Court.
The officer, who was off duty at the time, forcibly kissed the woman and sexually assaulted her over her clothing.
He is suspended from duty and will face a misconduct hearing, with sentencing due in November.
