On Wednesday, Michael Mongan from Ealing was refused boarding after not having enough money for a bus fare.
He then spat and shouted Islamophobic abuse and other threats at the bus driver. The incident was recorded by an onlooker and put online.
Mongan was quickly identified and arrested on Friday. He has pleaded guilty to a racially aggravated public order offence and criminal damage.
He will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday for sentencing.
