A man who caused a collision which resulted in the death of a man in Walton on the Hill has been jailed for 32 months.

29 year old Harry Carpenter admitted taking cocaine the night before the fatal crash in January last year.

He pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving when he got behind the wheel of his Ford Ranger 4×4.

The car crossed into the opposite lane of Dorking Road hitting a motorbike being ridden by 60 year old victim Christopher Brandham.
