A man who carried out nearly 50 burglaries across several countries has been jailed for five years.

27-year-old Miles Connors was arrested by officers at Heathrow Airport in August last year.

He was wanted by Surrey Police for his role in a huge conspiracy to burgle and fled to Australia with a fake passport.

He was eventually deported from Australia for separate offences and immediately arrested and charged on his arrival back to the UK.
