62 year old James John Wood from Staines was found guilty of causing death by careless driving whilst unfit through drink.
In September 2020, officers were called to Walton Bridge Road following reports a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The driver James, failed to stop at the scene.
Despite efforts of paramedics, 52-year-old Brendan Sean O’Connell was pronounced dead at the scene.
