27 year old Oliver Franks was arrested in January for theft of a bike and stealing from ASDA, Savers and Holland & Barrett.
At the end of last year, officers scoured hours of CCTV to establish Franks was responsible for the thefts.
He has been jailed for 6 months and fined nearly £1000.
