A man has died in a collision in Wallington.

Emergency services were called to an incident involving a man and a van on Manor Road just before 10 o’clock on Tuesday evening.

Paramedics provided first aid, but despite their efforts, a man in his 70s died at the scene.

The driver stopped and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving; he’s since been released on bail.
