Officers were called to reports of an injured man just before midnight.
The victim, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four men have been arrested and the death is believed to be linked to another incident in Twickenham.
The area’s Lib Dem MP, Munira Wilson, has released a statement on X.
It says “shocking and sad news to wake up to in our community this morning. My thoughts are with all those impacted.
I’m keeping in touch with the police for updates.”
Strawberry Hill station remains closed.
