In 2016, the now 25 year old Tyrese Osei-Kofi stabbed teenaged Jamel Boyce in the chest and leg in Triangle Place in Clapham.

He went into cardiac arrest, depriving his brain of oxygen for 14 minutes, leaving him in a ‘vegetative state’ and later died in 2022.

Tyrese was originally convicted of GBH and found not guilty of attempted murder, but since Jamel’s death, has been convicted of murder.

He’s been sentenced to a minimum of seven years and ten months in prison for the murder of Jamel Boyce.
