19 year old John Budal has been charged with murder, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
Michael was found with fatal stab wounds in Mayfield Crescent at around 22:30 on Tuesday the 19th December.
It’s believed he was attacked by a group of men.
Police are still urging anyone with information to come forward.
