34-year-old Simon Ghebremedhin was found guilty of killing Marjama Osman following a trial earlier this month.
He’s been told he will serve a minimum of 19 years.
Ghebremedhin stabbed Marjama in May last year claiming he acted in self defence which was later proved to be untrue.
