Paul Hancel’s bulldog puppy had to be put down to stop her suffering, as he failed to address her horrendous skin condition and weight loss.
RSPCA inspector Harriet Daliday, said the dog’s body was in such a poor condition she could not make out whether it was that of a dog.
Hancel admitted causing unnecessary suffering and received a ban, an 18-month community order and was ordered to pay £300 court costs.
