A luxury car, once owned by Madonna, has failed to sell at auction.

Madonna purchased a rare 1967 Jaguar Mark X 4.2 three years ago for her son Rocco and sold it a year later, according to the auctioneers.

The car was up for sale at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge today, with an estimated value of £16,000 to £22,000.

However, despite interest, the car did not sell and remains available to purchase.
