Gordon Bennett! restaurant is on the market because its owner of 25 years wants to “pursue other interests.”
The 25 year lease for the site in Maple Road is being listed for offers in excess of £95,000.
The site used to be the home of The Royal Charter Pub in the 1860s; it was rebuilt in the 1920s after being bought by Watney’s Brewery.
