A housing association in Croydon has taken steps to address repeated calls about anti-social behaviour.

Moat Homes owns and manages over 22,000 properties across the south-east.

Bosses worked closely with Croydon Council to resolve ongoing complaints about a resident’s disruptive behaviour in communal areas.

This included drug dealing, rough sleeping and misuse of residents’ door buzzers.

Moat initially engaged directly with the resident, but interventions proved unsuccessful.

It has secured a closure order at the property preventing the individual from entering and installed CCTV.
