Former West Area Command Sergeant Anish Sharma faced allegations of inappropriately touching a woman and exposing himself at a party in 2021.
He was arrested shortly after, but the investigation was later closed with no further action and no gross misconduct hearing arranged.
Sharma resigned from the Met in April this year, but following the outcome, he will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
