A further £3.5 million is to be made available to make schools across Kensington and Chelsea net zero.

The council has announced the funding as part of next year’s budget.

£12 million is also going on helping 2,000 households in temporary accommodation and supported housing.

The authority is also increasing the Council Tax charge for properties empty for more than a year paying up to a 100% premium rate.
