A farm is preparing to release 100 butterflies to mark the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough.

The blue morphos will be released into the attraction’s Rainforest Flight Area on May the 8th.

It’s one of a number of celebrations taking place up and down the country to mark the naturalist’s centenary.

Sir David has lived in Richmond for over 70 years, famously calling it his “favourite place on Earth” and a “refuge”.
