50 year old Robert Dorado was suspected of drug dealing when officers followed and pulled over his black Alfa Romeo on the A245 near Painshill last September.
He refused to get out of the car forcing officers to smash a window and force him to show his hands.
Inside, the back seat was littered with bags of Class A drugs. There was also a bag with £20,000 in cash.
He was arrested immediately and later, a search of his home address found more evidence including a safe stuffed with money, around a kilo of Cocaine, and 13kg of Cannabis.
Dorado pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property.
He was sentenced to six years in total, broken down as six years for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, nine months for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, and 18 months for the possession of criminal property to run concurrently.
Detective Constable Harry Robberts, from Surrey Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit, said: “If you are dealing illegal drugs within Surrey, it will be a matter of time before we find you. Drugs destroy our communities and we will continue working to target and pursue anyone involved in the supply chain.”
