Tara Boswell has been handed the accolade in recognition of her work in promoting and enhancing animal welfare in the borough.
She focises on rehoming and finding rescue spaces for unclaimed, stray dogs and giving help, such as the free microchipping.
Tara won the award last year after winning the gold award five times, which automatically upgraded her to the platinum award.
