Newlyweds Tom Leese and his wife Rachel were at the Slivovitz Museum in the Czech capital.
14 people have been killed with 25 others injured by a gunman at a university in Jan Palach Square.
The couple were kept safe inside the museum by staff who locked the doors and turned out the lights.
