A Closure Order has been placed on Grand Fresh Market, a triple fronted shop in Grand Drive, following a customer complaint.
Merton Council officers discovered droppings and contaminated foodstuffs, and said the site posed an imminent risk to public health.
The premises must remain closed until officials are satisfied the health risks have been eliminated.
