A collection of instruments used by musical pioneer John Martyn are to go under the hammer at auction.

Martyn was born in New Malden but grew up in Glasgow.

He was widely regarded as one of the most innovative singer-songwriters of his generation.

The sale of items, including his Echoplex delay unit, will take place at Omega Auctions in Merseyside on July the 2nd.
