Help The Purple Elephant Project provides therapy services to over 50 adopted children and their families.
But The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund the charity has previously had access to, has now expired.
The Department for Education has promised to set out more details about its plans to bridge the funding gap “as soon as possible”.
But Labour has made no guarantee that the funding will continue.
The Purple Elephant Project says many of the children it supports have spent months or years in the care system.
It says that without immediate intervention, the consequences could be devastating.
