A charity in Woking has raised donations for the Cardiology department at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital.

The funds from HeartBeat Support Woking will purchase a much-needed scanner to monitor bladder function in cardiac patients.

This is particularly important for patients using strong diuretics, also known as water tablets, to treat heart failure.

Over the last 20 years, the charity and its team of volunteers have raised £85,000 for the hospital.
