A care provider in Leatherhead has been rated inadequate after inspectors found people were left without food and drink for too long.

The CQC says some patients felt unsafe, with one person allegedly handled roughly and left in pain.

Inspectors also found sedatives were given without proper records or oversight, and visits were often late or rushed.

Silverjen Limited says it is working with authorities to address the concerns and takes the findings seriously.
