This March marks five years since the outbreak of the virus which is listed on the death certificates of over 220,000 people in the UK.

Sunday, March the 9th is the annual COVID-19 Day of Reflection.

People in Epsom and Ewell are being urged to view the Book of Remembrance at the Town Hall and also, Bourne Hall Museum.

They are also being invited to light candles for loved ones and Epsom’s historic Clock Tower will be lit up in yellow on the day.

Councillors will place ribbon bouquets on COVID-19 memorial benches around the borough.
