Officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian in Newham in the early hours of Sunday.
35 year old Fergany Mvuezolo was found injured and later died.
Trevelle Rowland, from North London, is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
