The Vicar of St Mary Magdalene is holding a continuous service in order to raise £12,000.
Robert Stanier’s fundraising efforts will go towards The Richmond Soup Kitchen and a new set of bells for the church.
BBC journalist Sophie Raworth is one of the parishioners who has joined the service.
