Police have carried out checks on New Malden High Street to tackle the anti-social use of e-bikes, e-scooters and other vehicles.

The operation involved immigration officers and the Met’s traffic team, with a focus on takeaway delivery riders.

Most were following the law, but some people were dealt with for minor driving offences and one person was stopped and searched.

Police say they’ll continue carrying out checks and are asking residents to report any concerns.
