The Vicar of St Mary Magdalene, Robert Stanier, held a continuous service yesterday to try and hit a fundraising goal of £240,000.
The money raised is going to Richmond Soup Kitchen and a new set of bells for the church.
A number of famous faces joined the congregation, including former chairman of the FA, Greg Dyke.
