Human remains discovered in Feltham following a wildfire have been identified as a woman who went missing in December 2019.

44-year-old Joanne Sheen was last seen when she travelled from Fareham to Southampton with a friend.

Bones were found near Padstow Walk after a wildfire in August.

A 56-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and he remains in police custody.

The Met has now handed the investigation over to Hampshire Police.
