An 80-year-old man accused of murdering his wife at their home in Ashford could go on trial in January.

Paramedics called police to an address on Junction Road in May.

78-year-old Jill Ellis was found dead and her husband David Ellis was charged with murder in June.

A plea hearing for Ellis is scheduled for November the 2nd with a potential trial due to begin in the new year.
