The government’s been warned the expansion of Heathrow airport can’t go ahead unless the aviation industry cuts back on carbon pollution.

Last week, Chancellor John Healey said a third runway has been given the “go-ahead”, despite opposition from experts and Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan.

The Climate Change Committee say there’s “no credible pathway” for expansion under current net zero targets.
