The 34 year old was arrested by Police yesterday while travelling by train to France and remains in custody.
The fire broke out on Berkeley Avenue last Wednesday, with 9 people taken to hospital and a 48-year-old woman dying from her injuries.
A 40-year-old woman remains in a life-threatening condition, while 7 others have been discharged.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
