Scientists say they’ve found a window of opportunity to deal with aggressive brain cancer.

Researchers at the University of Manchester say treatment could be most effective shortly after glioblastoma surgery, when the blood-brain barrier is disrupted.

The findings come around three years after Mitcham and Morden MP Siobhain McDonagh’s sister Margaret died from the disease.

The Labour MP has previously called for more progress in tackling glioblastoma.
