An inquest has confirmed a Virgin Atlantic engineer died at Heathrow Airport after suffering a traumatic brain injury.

23-year-old aircraft technician Georgie Buxton was injured on the morning of the 11^th of June and died on the 7^th of July.

A criminal investigation has been launched by the Met Police who are working with the Health and Safety Executive.

Senior coroner Lydia Brown has opened and suspended an inquest into his death as she’s waiting to see if criminal charges are brought.
