The riverside area now has improved paths, new plants and fencing has been removed at the request of residents.
A new sculpture made from old Barnes Bridge steel girders has been installed as a key feature.
The project, designed by Tibor Babic with residents, will continue with community planting to improve wildlife and the green space.
